Method 1
To fix error 208, you should try resetting your console.
In the “Something went wrong” screen,
Choose the “troubleshoot”option.
Then select the “Reset this Xbox” option
Now, select “Keep Apps and Games”
This will reset your OS without deleting your games.
Method 2
Installing the Offline System Update file.
Download the offline system update file from a Windows PC
Then transfer it onto a USB drive having at least 6GB of space
The drive should be empty and formatted into NTFS
Copy all the contents and paste them into the root folder of the drive.
Now plug the USB into the console
Select “troubleshoot” from the “Something went wrong” screen.
Select the “offline system update” button. After the process is over, everything will be back to normal.
Method 3
Try restoring your console to factory default settings.
The above step will eventually delete all your games, apps and accounts
