Blizzard Entertainment released World of Warcraft (WoW) in 2004, and it is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). World of Warcraft is a fantasy role-playing game set in the Warcraft universe. It takes place four years after the events of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
