Born April 24, 1996, Ashleigh Barty is Australia's former cricketer and professional tennis player. The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has placed her No. 1 in the World in singles, making her the second Australian WTA singles No. 1 after fellow Indigenous Australian star Evonne Goolagong Cawley. She has also been a top 10 doubles player, reaching a career-high ranking of No. 5 in the World. On the WTA Tour, Barty has won fourteen singles championships, and twelve doubles trophies, including two Grand Slam singles victories, the 2019 French Open, and the 2021 Wimbledon Championships and one Grand Slam doubles victory, the 2018 US Open with partner CoCo Vandeweghe.

She had an outstanding junior career, rising to No. 2 in the World after winning the girls' singles title at Wimbledon in 2011. In early 2016, Barty returned to tennis. In 2017, she had a breakout year in singles, earning her first WTA title at the Malaysian Open and reaching No. 17 in the world despite never having been rated inside the top 100 before her break. World No 1 Tennis Player Male

Novak Djokovic has been named the World's no 1 tennis player male for 2022 and the World's no 1 tennis player for 2022. Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player born on May 22, 1987. The Association of Tennis Professionals has him rated first in the World (ATP). Djokovic has held the No. 1 ranking for a record 356 weeks and has ended as the ATP Year-End No. 1 seven times. He has a joint Grand Slam men's singles record of 20 championships, including a record nine Australian Open victories. He has won 86 ATP singles titles, including a record 37 Masters tournaments. Djokovic is the first guy in the Open Era to complete a non-calendar year Grand Slam and a double lifetime Grand Slam. He is also the only player to have twice completed the ATP Tour's career, Golden Masters. Djokovic's professional career began in 2003. At 20, he ended Roger Federer's and Rafael Nadal's 11-major winning streaks by winning his maiden Grand Slam championship at the 2008 Australian Open. By 2010, Djokovic had distanced himself from the rest of men's tennis, joining Federer and Nadal in the Big Three, the trio of players who had dominated men's tennis for more than a decade. Djokovic became No. 1 for the first time in 2011, winning three of four majors and a then-season high of five Masters tournaments. Following four straight year-end results at No. 3, Djokovic finished No. 1 for six years and No. 2 for three years during the next decade. He also has the  Order of St. Sava, the Order of Karađorđe's Star, and the Order of the Republika Srpska. Aside from tennis, Djokovic is a philanthropist and past president of the ATP player council. Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil announced the foundation of the Professional Tennis Players Association as the first player-only association in tennis in August 2020, citing the need for players to have a more significant influence on the tour and campaigning for a fairer prize money system for lower-ranked players.
