Who Is Aj Armstrong?

Aj Armstrong is the son of Antonio Donnell Armstrong, who was born on October 15, 1973, in Houston, Texas, U.S., and Died on July 29, 2016, in Houston, Texas, U.S. When he died, he was 42 years old. Armstrong was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers In the sixth round of the 1995 NFL Draft but fractured his ankle. Later signed to the Miami Dolphins squad, placed on the active roster, and signed by the St. Louis Rams.

What Happened To Aj Armstrong? 

Armstrong Jr. was 16 when prosecutors expressed in 2016 he shot and killed his parents. In their Bellaire home, Antonio Armstrong Sr. and Dawn Armstrong were killed while they slept. In 2019  Armstrong Jr.'s first trial ended in a mistrial, and they couldn't agree on a verdict.

 It was the other way around; in his first trial, eight jurors believed he was guilty. During the second trial, the defense attorneys said eight jurors acknowledged Armstrong Jr. was innocent, and four believed he was guilty. In the second trial. KHOU 11 spoke with a juror. They said doubt created by the defense led to a hung jury.

"It just to the point where I couldn't even talk anymore," the juror said. "Everyone kind of had their mind made up, but it was very frustrating to hear everyone say -- and I mean everyone, say, 'We know he's not innocent but we still have doubt.'"

On the night of their deaths, Armstrong called police around 1:40 a.m., saying he'd heard gunshots and saw a masked man inside the home.

They found no signs of forced entry When police arrived,  except a .22-caliber pistol and a strange note on the kitchen counter, the outlet reported. Authorities have not released the contents of the note. Armstrong has asserted not guilty to the charges against him.

Armstrong was charged with capital murder in connection with the killings and not guilty to all charges and "adamantly that he has committed these murders," as his defense attorney, Rick Detoto, told PEOPLE.
