Steve Owen is a famous fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Martin Kemp played the character of Steve. Steve appeared onscreen for the first time on 28th December 1998. He remained in the EastEnders series till 1st March 2002. He was introduced by the series producer Matthew Robinson. In the series, Steve Owen is a shady businessman who comes to Albert Square to buy the local Market Cellar club. He then renovated the club and renamed that E20.

A car chase evolved and resulted in a terrible crash, and after freeing Louise, Steve didn't come alive. Hunter's dad Steve Owen, died in 2002 after a car crash and explosion while driving.
