Sophia is a fictional character from The Walking Dead. Madison Lintz portrayed it in the TV series of the same name. Sophia is the daughter of Carol Peletier, who is fiercely protective of her. Sophia is known as Sophia Grimes in comics and as Sophia Peletier in television series. Carl Grimes is the person with whom Sophia becomes close friends during the zombie outbreak. She acts as the main point in both media, inspite of her limited participation in many of the central conflicts the other characters face.
What Happened To Sophia In The Walking Dead?
Sophia is alive, as she is not dead. She is well to date at the Hilltop Colony. She is also the only rest of survivor of the Atlanta group along with Rick and Carl. After Rick dies, Sophia becomes Carl's wife and starts a new family with him. Before that, sometime later, Maggie gets the position of the de facto leader of the Hilltop Colony. She brings most of the people from Hilltop to Alexandria, which includes many children.

After this, Otis identifies Sophia and places in Hershel's barn. Once Shane opens the barn, then all the walkers are gunned down by the group. At this time, a zombified Sophia slowly comes out and is shot in the head by Rick.
