How To Restrict Someone On Instagram?
1. Through Comments
Click and hold the comment from the person that you want to restrict.
Click an exclamation point in a bubble located at the top and then click the Restrict button.
2. Through Your Account Settings
Go to profile and click the three-bar menu icon located in the top-right corner.
Then click Settings > Privacy > Restricted accounts.
Search for the account that you want to restrict and click the restrict button.
3. Through Their Profile
Visit the Instagram profile that you want to restrict.
Click the three-dot menu located at the top-right corner.
Tap on Restrict.

Procedure to View Restricted Comments
The restricted person's comments will be displayed along with other comments, but under a protected message. Moreover, you won’t be getting any notification when they comment on your post. If you want to view the restricted persons’ comments then follow the below procedure.
Click See comment.
Then select either Approve or Delete it.
In case you approve it, it'll be made visible to everyone. In case you delete it, neither you nor the restricted person will see it. The restricted person will not be notified of the action, whatever you choose from the above two options.
