Wakey Wines is owned by Nazir has gained popularity for selling drinks. This store sells the product at inflated prices, where it is in demand, with people traveling from all over the country to visit. Nearly the can have been sold for £100. The owner then takes a video with himself and the customers, asking where they are from and why they visited his business. He then invites his visitors to join in by saying his catchphrase, “What’s the best shop in Wakey? Wakey Wines.”,as per thesun. 

Wakey Wines Banned From Tiktok    

The Wakey Wines TikTok account was banned. The reason behind this was some complaints about the owner Nazir, described as "a well known influencer." Nazir took to Instagram to explain the ban and asked followers to help him. His TikTok page had around 500,000 followers when he took it down. However, the account has since been reinstated.  Many shops marked up the price of it and sought to make a bit extra from the excitement. Where Wakey Wines took it further, he began offering Prime Energy drinks for £100. In one of his posts, he shared a video of a customer spending £1,200 on a box of cans. The canned version of the drink has only launched in the US, with UK retailers usually only stocking bottled, as per itv and thesun. 

"We are open about the fact that we don't get every moderation decision right and have reinstated the Wakey Wines account.

"We hope they continue to use TikTok to promote their business."

What Happened To Wakey Wines?   

Nazir has posted many videos along with people who are eager to buy the drink and visit his shop. After being banned from TikTok, he posted a statement on his Instagram account. As per itv, the owner then takes a video with himself and the customers, asking where they are from and why they visited his business.  He says,

Wakefield Wines is located at Marygate, Wakefield. Also, the shop is better known as Wakey Wines, one of the common nicknames given to the city. Mohammad Azar Nazir owns the store. Wakefield is in West Yorkshire, best known for being home to the Wakefield Trinity rugby league team. The drink has been seen as massive in demand and has recently become challenging to get hold of. Some have reportedly traveled across the country, while others are said to have queued for hours, as per itv.
