Howard Kleinberg owned a Miami restaurateur who competed in Season 3 of "Top Chef" and died due to a heart attack over the weekend of July 23. Howard Kleinberg was 46 years old when he died. Ali grew up in Pakistan and moved to the United States at 18 to attend the Culinary School of America. She graduated from there in 2011. Floyd Cardoz
On March 25, 2020, Hunger Inc., the company in charge of Floyd's restaurants, later announced that Floyd had passed away when the Chef was just 59 years old—suffered from the illness of the coronavirus in New Jersey. Before his tragic death, Floyd was treated at the Mountainside Medical Center in New Jersey. However, later they revealed that Top Chef Masters winner Floyd Cardoz had succumbed to the novel coronavirus.
In Season 3, Floyd Cardoz won the top Chef Masters'. Before he died, Floyd visited India to celebrate the fifth anniversary of The Bombay Canteen. Shortly after, he announced on his Instagram page that he was in the hospital after contracting the coronavirus and died from COVID-19 in March 2020.

Aaron Grissom
About six months later, in September 2020, contestant Aaron Grissom died in a motorcycle accident. In Season 12 of the series, Aaron Grissom was a 'Top Chef: Boston contestant
Viewers first met Aaron, and later, he came in 11th place. Aaron also appeared on an episode of the hit Food Network show, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. And he died in a motorcycle accident. In September 2020, the 34-year-old got in a motorcycle accident in Washington state. He ultimately passed away, and his death was ruled an accident.
