Sound Of Music 

The Sound of Music is a musical drama film produced and directed by Robert Wise. This movie was released in 1965. The movie casts Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Richard Haydn, Peggy Wood, Charmian Carr, and Eleanor Parker. The movie is an adaptation of the 1959 stage musical, composed by Richard Rodgers with lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. The movie’s screenplay was written by Ernest Lehman, and adapted from the stage musical's book by Lindsay and Crouse. The movie is about a young Austrian postulant in Salzburg, Austria, in 1938. That postulant is sent to the house of a retired naval officer and widower to serve as governess to his seven children.
