So You Think You Can Dance

So You Think You Can Dance is a popular American reality television dance competition show developed by Simon Fuller and presented by Lauren Sanchez and Cat Deeley. The production company of the show is 19 Entertainment MRC Live and Alternative. The original network of the show is Fox. So You Think You Can Dance first premiered on July 20, 2005 and is still on the run.

Where Are The Contestants Of So You Think You Can Dance?

Koko Iwasaki 

The Japan native finished second in the 14th season of the dancing competition series, at the same show where she met Kiki Nyemchek. After that, she joined Dancing With the Stars in the 31st season. In November 2022, Iwasaki and Nyemchek announced their engagement. 

Kiki Nyemchek 

The Russian native competed in the 14th season of SYTYCD with fourth place, and on November 2022, he proposed to Iwasaki after their dating for four years. 

Alexis Warr 

The Utah-based ballroom dancer won America's Favorite Dancer title during the season 17 finale. Alexis had mentioned, 

"You're looking at the newest member of @dancingwiththestars. I'm so excited and grateful to be on troupe this year," she gushed via Instagram several weeks after her SYTYCD victory. "Better make sure your @disneyplus is up and ready because season 31 will be magical!"  

Hayley Erbert 

Kansas competed in season 10 in 2013 and became one of the final top three female contestants. Hayley returned to DWTS in 2020 and 2021 to perform with her then-boyfriend Derek. Then the couple announced in June 2022 that they were engaged after more than six years of dating. 

Allison Holker  

Minnesota first competed in season 2 of the reality series. Then she joined the cast of DWTS. She married Boss in December 2013 and shares her son Maddox and daughter Zaya. Holker also is the mother of the daughter website, whom she welcomed in May 2008 along with a former partner.  

Jenna Johnson 

Utah competed on season 10 of SYTYCD alongside future DWTS costar Alan Bersten. Then she joined the cast of DWTS in season 18, and she returned to the FOX series as a mentor. Additionally, Johnson won the mirrorball during 2018's all-athletes edition at season 26, and she married Val Chmerkovskiy in April 2019. 

Ricky Ubeda 

The famous dancer Ubeda won season 11 before tackling the Great White Way. Also, he has starred in Broadway productions of On the Town and Cats the Musical. 

Gaby Diaz 

Diaz is the winner of the season 12 competition before serving at the competition as a mentor the following year. After that, she appeared in Steven Speilberg's adaptation of West Side Story. 

Kent Boyd 

Kent was the season 7 runner-up. In addition, Kent appeared in Disney Channel's Teen Beach Movie franchise, Bunheads, Stepping High, Shake It Up, and other projects. 

Lex Ishimoto 

Ishimoto is the winner of the season 14 iteration of the show before joining Wall's Shaping Sound company. He dated season 14 alum Taylor Sieve after their season wrapped.

Hannahlei Cabanilla 

California native is the winner of the 15th season, captivating audiences with her contemporary prowess and ability to tackle other genres. Cabanilla did her education with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in May 2022.

Dushaunt Fik-Shun Stegall 

"Fix-Shun" is a winner of season 10 of the dance competition. She was since returned to the program as a mentor and all-star dancer. 

Ariana DeBose 

DeBose performed in Broadway productions of Motown the Musical. DeBose's role in Summer earned her first Tony Award nomination in 2018. In addition, North Carolina starred as Anita in Spielberg's West Side Story in 2021, winning the best actress in a supporting role trophy during this year's Oscar in March.

Jeanine Mason 

After his appearance as Merav in ABC's Of Kings and Prophets as Dr. Sam Bello on Grey's Anatomy, in this SYTYCD season 5, Mason Jeanine Mason got a starring role in the CW drama Roswell. 

Stephen "tWitch" Boss 

Stephen has been deejaying on The Ellen DeGeneres Show since 2014, and he had married Holker. The Magic Mike actor and Holker share a son Maddox, born in March 2016, and a daughter Zaya, born in November 2019. In addition, he adopted Holker's daughter Weslie from a previous relationship. But unfortunately, he died in this December 2022 at the age of 40. 

Travis Wall 

Travis Wall, season 2 runner-up, has racked up multiple Emmys and additional nominations for his work. Also, he was a choreographer in So You Think You Can Dance. Travis also starred in the Oxygen reality series All the Right Moves.

Benji Schwimmer 

Schwimmer is the season 2 winner. After multiple championships, Benji announced his retirement from routine divisions at the 2018 Open Swing Dance Championships. Benji Schwimmer appeared in the 2010 film Leading Ladies.

Melaine Moore 

Moore headed to the Great White Way. Also, he had appeared in the Broadway productions of Finding Neverland, Fiddler on the Roof, and Hello, Dolly! 

Hokuto "Hok" Konishi 

Hokuto is the season 3 breakout who won an Outstanding Choreography Emmy recognition for his work on the show in 2008. Recently appeared as a judge on the CBS reality competition The World's Best. 

Dominic Sandoval 

Sandoval, the season 3 alum, joined Konishi in the dance troupe Quest Crew and won the third season of America's Best Dance Crew. 

Mollee Gray 

Mollee, the season 6 finalist, has recently continued her acting career. Also, Mollee appeared in the Disney Channel movies like Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2. In addition, Mollee Gray got married to choreographer Jeka Jane in September 2017.

Ellenore Scott 

Scott is the finalist in SYTYCD season 6 and an all-star in season 8, and she performed at the Academy Awards in 2010. In addition, she's a teacher at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

Derek Piquette 

Derek Piquette got a job with Cirque du Soleil as the Trickster in the show Kooza. After that, he started the Intrepid Dance Company and was honored at the 2014 American Dance Awards. Then returned to reality TV as a contestant on NBC's World of dance.  

Dmitry Chaplin 

Celebrities include LindasyArnold, Lacey Schwimmer, and Witney Carson, the season 2 contestant who graduated from ABC's. He also did his education in the Ukrainian version of the show.
