The Apprentice is a British reality show where a group of businesspeople competes in a set of business-related competitions. The competitions are created by the businessman Alan Sugar. 1) Carina Lepore - 2019

With the 2020 series of the BBC show postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Carina Leopore is the latest winner. As a prize for winning the 2019 competition, Lord Sugar was awarded £250,000 to invest in her artisan bakery Dough Bakehouse. Business seems to be booming for Carina as she has expanded her bakery to two more chains in Beckenham and Bromley. However, when the pandemic hit, Carina's plans to open a series of small shops were put on hold. In her recent interview with  Mail, she said, "Of course, everything changed for everyone in hospitality when the pandemic hit.

 

2) Sian Gabbidon – 2018

Sian stormed forward to success in 2018 and excavated the funds to set up her latest business Sian Marie, a swimwear and style brand. Her Topical Goddess range has been a tremendous hit and worn on Instagram by celebrities, including Michelle Keegan. 

3) James White – 2017

James didn't keep the most suitable time after mutually winning the show with Sarah Lynn, as his new firm reportedly struggled with "heartbreaking setbacks" in the relatively few months. It was even conveyed that James had a slide with Alan Sugar after he set up a different firm with a friend, with The Sun revealing that Alan had reportedly said he was "stupid, daft and naïve" for the misguided decision. However, the brand Right Time Recruitment is still going strong, and James also participates in public speaking.

4) Sarah Lynn – 2017

Despite accidentally throwing a confectionary company that already had the same name as an existing one, Sarah and her sweet business, renamed Sweets in the City, has been an enormous success and is available in WHSmiths, Holland & Barrett, and Waitrose.

5) Alana Spencer – 2016

Alana might be one of the multiple victorious contenders from The Apprentice, with her cake firm Ridiculously Rich by Alana achieving annual deals of £500,000. The baker, who owns since purchased a five-bedroom house, told the Daily Mail that going on the show was the best money decision she had ever made.

6) Joseph Valente – 2015

Joseph created his own plumbing company from scratch when he was a teenager. Earlier last year he sold his boiler company and is now the CEO of his company Trade Mastermind. 

7) Mark Wright - 2014

Mark Wright created a digital marketing company and the business is going to turn over 5 million pounds at the end of its second year. He is also an official UK citizen now. 

8) Leah Totton -2013

Leah Totton has opened a cosmetic clinic that offers botox and facials. She has clinics in London, Moorgate, and Essex. Lord Sugar has reportedly visited the clinic several times. Her company reportedly makes 1.6 million pounds a year.
