League of Legends Champions Queue

League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle video game. It was commonly referred to as League. It was developed and published by Riot Games in 2009. As attracted by a custom map for Warcraft III,  Defense of the Ancients, Riot's founders helped to develop a stand-alone game in the same genre. The game was released in October 2009, is free to play. It is monetized through purchasable character conversion. This game can be accessed for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. League of Legends Champions Queue is the event conducted each year for this game. 

League Of Legends Champions Queue Date

The League of Legends will be held in two seasons, one season will be held in Spring and the other in Summer during this year. The spring season starts from February 7 to May 23, with three splits. Each split will last till a month. The Summer season will start from May 30 to September 26. The Summer season will be divided into three splits. At last, a post-Worlds Pre-Season Brawl will start from November 17 to December 13, 2022.

Timings of Champions Queue

The League of Legends Champion will start from 10 a.m to 5 p.m GMT+8. Then at 2a.m to 5p.m GMT+8 on Mondays.  These timings will be around the pro player stage setting as per the Riot. On the Riot API, the matches are logged and a leader board and match history will be displayed on that.

In this game, two teams battle in player versus player combat. From each team, five players will take part in this player vs player combat. Each team will occupy and defend half of the map. A character, known as a "champion", is controlled by ten of each player. The Champion must have different abilities and differing styles of play. Eligibility of League of Legends Champions Queue

The players who are eligible for League of Legends are 

  • All LCS and Academy players 

  • LLA players 

  • Recent LCS alumni

  • Top 16 NA Amateur Teams 

  • Current LCS Alumni

The Master tier will also be eligible to join the Queue. As per the Champion’s Queue Council, the players above the Grandmaster tier will be allowed to play in Champions Queue from February 25. The players who fail to meet this criterion will not be eligible to play. 

League Of Legends Best Solo Queue Champions Winner Prize Amount

The Top players will be rewarded 400,000 US Dollars as a prize pool. Each top player will get the season points, at the end of each split. The prize amount will be shared among the ones who have got the most cumulative points as follows:

  1. First Position: 62,200 US Dollars

  2. Second Position: 52,000 US Dollars 

  3. Third Position: 49,400 US Dollars

  4. Fourth Position: 43,700 US Dollars  

  5. Fifth Position: 39,700 US Dollars
