The Kuvar Bai Nu Mameru Yojana scheme was introduced by the Gujarat Government, where the girls belonging to the Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste can be benefited by providing financial help at the time of marriage. The girls belonging to SC/ST can avail this scheme benefits, where Rs 10,000 will be given to the eligible applicants. The benefits of the Kuvar Bai Nu Mameru Yojana includes,
The state Govt. scheme provides all ST/SC category girls with Rs 5000 to get married.
From the scheme amount of Rs 5000, Rs. 2000 is provided to the girl’s parents/guardian for the daughter’s marriage and Rs. 3000 to a girl as a Kisan Vikas Patra.
