Who Is Halbrand In The Rings of Power?

Halbrand is a man running from his past whose destiny is interlinked with Galadriel's". In the second episode, Galadriel meets Halbrand at the time, when Galadriel is pulled from the Sundering Seas onto boat wreckage, she meets Halbrand. This happens in the second episode, where Halbrand is found as another passenger in the boat wreckage. Once Halbrand discovers that Galadriel is an elf, the remaining persons on the board push her from the destruction. After that, others on board except Halbrand and Galadriel are attacked by a creature from the sea. After that, Halbrand pulls Galadriel back onto the wreckage, and the pair are the only survivors. They both travel on to weather a dangerous storm and safeguard each other's lives.

One of the theories says that Halbrand could be the man who might become the King of the Dead. As per book myths, the King of the Dead is known to be a person who was the ruler over a realm in the White Mountains and followed Sauron. He tries to swear to come to the help of Isildur, the King of Gondor, should he need them. However, when needed, the King failed to come when Isildur wanted him. This caused Isildur to curse the King and his followers. Due to that, they remained as ghoulish spirits till the oath was accomplished. It occurred when Aragorn, Isildur's descendant, sought the Army of the Dead's help in fighting against Sauron.
