Google Trends is a search trends feature which shows you how frequently a given search term is typed into Google’s search engine relative to the site’s total search volume over a given time period. If you don’t want to get trending searches, then you can make some changes in your settings to turn off the trending searches.

  • First, open the Google app on your Android mobile.

  • Your Profile picture/initial will be located on the top right; now tap on that.

  • Click the Settings option.

  • Then press the General option.

  • Now, turn off Autocomplete with trending searches.

Turning off the trending searches is very easy on the iPhone. Follow the below procedures to disable the option.

  • Open the ‘Chrome’ app available on your iPhone device.

  • The account picture will be situated on the top-right corner of your screen; now click that.

  • Scroll down and search for the ‘Autocomplete searches and URLs’ option. Now, switch the toggle to the ‘Off’ position.

  • You may also turn off the Safari Suggestions if you want.

  • Select Settings.
