Hollywood Critics Association Awards 2021 Nominees

The HCA stands for Hollywood Critics Association. It was formerly called the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society (LAOFCS). HCA is a film critic organization situated in Los Angeles, California. The HCA decided to hold their first 1st Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards in August 2021. To promote their goals of developing "a film critics club that would publicly discuss film throughout the year, not just around award season," the HCA has a film discussion podcast called "Film Critics Weekly" on the web broadcasting network "Popcorn Talk." After noticing that Los Angeles only had one film reviewer organization, Scott Menzel, Scott Mantz, and Ashley Menzel formed it in 2016.
