Hariyali Teej Puja Method
According to the Shiv Purana, Lord Shiva, and Mother Parvati were reunited on the day of Hariyali Teej; hence, this fast has special significance for married ladies. Women worship Mahadev and Goddess Parvati on this day. Hariyali Teej is worshipped in the following manner.
1. Clean the house and decorate it with a pylon pavilion on this day. Mix Ganges water in the soil on a post to make idols of Shivling, Lord Ganesha, Mata Parvati, and their associates.
2. Following the creation of the clay idol, perform Shodashopachar devotion by invoking the deities.
3. Hariyali Teej's fast worship continues throughout the night. Women also perform Jagran and Kirtan during this time.
