What Is The Fortnite Valentine Event?

The Epic Games developed Fortnite is an online video game that has three distinct versions - Fortnite: Save the World, a survival based game, Fortnite: Battle Royale, a last standing person game and Fortnite Creative, a mode where players can design and create their own worlds and battles. The game was for the first time published in 2017 and has grown exponentially over the years both in terms of development and popularity. The game is known for regularly releasing. The developers of Fortnite are known for regularly updating the game and releasing upgrades for the game but since the release of season 5 there has been a hike in the release of these updates and upgrades by Fortnite developers. This could be attributed to the fact that they are trying to rope in more gamers for their game and have a stronghold on the existing gamers. One of the special features of Fortnite is the weekly challenges that are an addition to the gameplay of the game. These weekly challenges give more scope to the players who can venture out of their comfort zones. Apart from these weekly challenges Fortnite also has a number of  events that are released randomly surprising the fans. One of these events is the Fortinite Valentine Event. 

Fortnite Valentines 2021 The Hearts Wild

Fortnite is known for releasing a Valentine event every year. But this year there were no announcements from Epic Games regarding whether there will be a Fortnite Valentines 2021 event. For the past two years in both season 3 and season 4 Epic games had released a valentine event that had its own challenges and rewards. In fact even now many who are eager to know when the Fortnite Valentines 2021 will be released are searching for when is the valentine's day Fortnite season 4 to guess the date of release of Valentine event. But breaking all the worries and anxieties of the fans they put up a blog stating the launch of  Hearts Wild the Fortnite Valentines event for 2021. The event was released on 8th February 2021 and kicked off on the same day. The event will last till the 15th of February 2021 the day after the Valentines day.

Fortnite Valentine Event Guide

Hearts Wild the Fortnite Valentine event that was launched on 8th february is offering the gamers a number of rewards including a new skin. This event is also bringing forth a number of Fortnite valentine challenges in the form of events.  Listed below are the events in Fortnite Valentine Event

• Hearts Wild Cup 

• Hearts Wild Team Battles

• Creator challenge

• Return of Papercraft

• Find a Valentine 

Fortnite Valentine Challenges

 All these challenges and events are not released on the same day they are spread across the days from 8th to 15th February 2021. Given below are the details of each of these events, the day of their launch and the rewards of these events if any.

Hearts Wild Cup 

This is a dynamic duo match in the Valentine event 2021 that premieres on the 9th February 2021. Only those players with 30 or above account level and have 2FA enabled will be able to play this event. This event will require players to partner with their loved one or any one to form the dynamic duo. These two players need to play for 3 hours and complete 10 matches within that time. The top performing Dynamic duo in each Fortnite valentine event location server will be rewarded the Lovely Outfit and Heartblast Back Bling. Both these are yet to be released in the Fortnite shop and winning them via this event will give those players exclusive access to these Fortnite valentine skins. 

Hearts Wild Team Battles

The next event in the Fortnite Valentine 2021 that will premiere on 10th February 2021. This event will be on Fortnite till the 17th February commemorating Valentine week. This challenge lets players team with creators to help these creators win unique challenges. Once the gamers have formed teams they need to compete with other such formed teams and the winners get the chance to win a number of rewards. Listed below are the rewards that are given 

• First Place: Teams that secure the first place will be rewarded Breathless Blades Pickaxe, Reel Love Spray, Shuffly Shapes Wrap Perfect Match Emoticon, & Hearts Wild Team Battles Banner

• Second Place: Teams that secure the second place will be rewarded Reel Love Spray, Shufflly Shapes Wrap, Perfect Match Emoticon, & Hearts Wild Team Battles Banner

• Third Place: Teams that secure the third place will be rewarded Reel Love Spray, Perfect Match Emoticon, & Hearts Wild Team Battles Banner

• Fourth Place: Teams that secure the fourth place will be rewarded Perfect Match Emoticon & Hearts Wild Team Battles Banner

• Fifth Place: Teams that secure the fifth place will be rewarded Hearts Wild Team Battles Banner

Creator challenge

Fortnite Creative, a mode where players can design and create their own worlds and battles. The Welcome Hub of the Fortnite Creative has undergone drastic changes. These changes will be exhibited from 9th February to 16th February  2021. The major change is that this Welcome Hub is valentified honouring the Valentines day. Gamers can come anytime to the Fortnite Creative to smell the roses here. 

Papercraft

Papercraft is not something that is new to Fortnite; many events conducted by Fortnite had Papercraft as one of their challenges wherein they were required to make Papercraft Costume plays (Cosplays). The developers of Fortnite brought back this event for the 2021 Valentine event Fortnite. All the gamers need to do is head to the official website of Fortnite on February 15th at 10AM ET to download and print paper materials which can then be used for creating Fortnite characters though these characters need to be valentine themed. Some Of the Cosplays that you can create are 

• Wild Card

• Lovethorn

• Heartbreaker

Gamers can also make Mini models of Cuddle Team Leader and Cuddle King. They can also venture into a more adventurous side and make Fortnite Valentine cards that they can gift to their loved ones who are also fans of Fortnite or you can gift it to yourself to show appreciation and love for yourself. 

Find a Valentine 

Fishstick, one of the characters in Fortnite, is in need of a Valentine. One of the quests in the weekly challenge of the Valentine week is to find a valentine for Fishstick. When there were no announcements regarding whether there will be an event for Fortnite Valentine fans were distraught but their hope was reinstated when they came to know about the 11th Weekly challenge. Fortnite season 5 is in its 10th week and the 11th week will commence on 11th February 2021. Many of the quests in the 11 weekly challenge are centred around Valentine’s day and valentine theme. One of them is finding a valentine for Fishstick.

Fortnite Valentine Skins

Fortnite often releases new skins and outfits for the gamers who enjoy these. New Fortnite Valentine Skins was something that was expected when they officially announced the Valentine's day event Hearts wild. Many of the skins and outfits have not yet been revealed by the developers of the game to retain the suspense of the game to the gamers. But some of the skins are Lovely outfit, Cuddle king. They have even brought back a skin from the past Lovethorn. Many more skins and outfits are expected to make its way to the Item shop in Fortnite. Since Fortnite valentines 2021 Hearts Wild is the first major event in 2021 by Fortnite developers fans are expecting the event to be exceptional and for secret gifts and rewards that will take the customers by surprise.
