COD Cold War became available for play on 15th October, 2020 for people who had pre-ordered the game. The Black Ops Cold War Beta will be available for everyone to download from today, i.e. 17th October, 2020. Initially, the COD Cold War beta level cap was set at level-16. With the update on 15th October, the Cold War beta level cap was increased to level-25. With the open-to-all release today, the Cold War Beta level cap has been increased to level-40.

Gaining levels in the game gives players rewards like weapon and skin unlocks, weapon up-gradation, etc. So with the new COD Cold War level cap increase, players can gain access to various weapons and equipment like AK-74u, tactical mask, SAM Turret, etc. Apart from the COD Cold War beta level cap increase, the developers have also released Crossroads, Miami, 6v6 mode VIP Escort to the Cartel and Moscow maps.
