Yes, you heard it right, the developers of the Rocket League Psyonix has enabled the game to be played free for the players. In its blog post, the developers had stated that Rocket League will not require a PS Plus subscription on PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch for the gamer to play the game online. With many other games going online free, Psyonix not to be left behind also has also come with other changes apart from Rocket League’s free-to-play update.  In its blogpost the developers also mentioned about helping out the new players, which we are quoting here “ a new tutorial will put new players right on the field, and will teach the basic HUD and button layout,” Psyonix said. “New players will also have New Driver Challenges to unlock items that were included in the base version of Rocket League.”

The developers are also planning to introduce new Competitive Ranks in the Rocket League. The names of the three levels of Grand Champion rank Competitive Seasons, Competitive Tournaments, and Rocket Pass matches, all following the same game format. Another new game Supersonic Legend is also getting included. Both Grand Champion and Supersonic Legend will have their own set of score points, titles and rewards.  With the release of the blog posts by the developer itself, the gamers can now be sure enough to have a whale of a time with lots and lots of excitement and vehicle soccer this season.
