Choose a digit from the grid below. Select a new number now. The number needs to be in a different row and column. You cannot choose a number in the same row (9, 11, or 12) or in the same column if you chose 10 (third row, second column) (2, 6, 14). The numbers that are disallowed should maybe be crossed out.

Choose a third number in a different column and row from the first two.

Choose the fourth number, making sure it is not in the same row or column as any of the previous three.

Now add the four numbers together for me.
