YouTube Modestbranding not Working

YouTube Modest Branding is one of the many parameters that you can choose from while uploading content. It helps you choose whether or not you wish to have a YouTube logo displayed over your video. This can be removed by setting the parameter as modestbranding=1. If this command is not working then the issue can be happening due to the parameter set for controls. It's not officially documented, but controls=0 and modestbranding=1 don't seem to co-exist (modestbranding gets overridden to 0).
