WWE News: Xavier Woods Praised Kenny Omega For Cosplaying Popular Video Game Character
At the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17, WWE Superstar Xavier Woods, after his incredible match against Will Ospreay, praised former AEW Champion Kenny Omega. In real life, Omega and Woods are friends who have bonded over their love of video games and professional wrestling. At last night's Wrestle Kingdom, Kenny entered as Sephiroth, a Final Fantasy VII video game villain. To attain the United States Heavyweight Champion, The Cleaner defeated Will Ospreay. Recently Xavier Woods praised Kenny for a video game character.

After the bout, in order to praise Kenny on Twitter, New Day member Xavier Woods complimented Omega's gear last night and appreciated his work. He stated, "Huge congrats to @KennyOmegamanX and also congrats to @Themikalmosley for building a bada** Sephiroth outfit for WRESTLE KINGDOM," Omega and Woods uploaded a video in November 2022, showing off the Street Fighter 6 beta. The current WWE NXT Tag Team Champions are Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, respectively.
