The Atlas stones, Stoltman, and Novikov, were involved in a tight head-to-head struggle going into the last event. Stoltman finished second in the penultimate event after completing nine power stair reps in 41.04 seconds. Novikov struggled and only managed to finish six reps in 34.20 seconds, putting him in second overall thanks to the 4 points he earned. Novikov's life has taken a complete 180-degree turn. He started with an eight-point medley before taking first place in the deadlift, flintstone barbell, and bus pull. The Ukrainian powerlifter set a new world record in the flintstone barbell and dominated the bus pull.

However, the Atlas stones repeated Novikov's terrible luck from the power steps. He completed only four reps in 36.70 seconds, placing him last in the competition. Licis was able to move up the scoreboard as a result of this. Stoltman's triumph was ensured thanks to Novikov's play, and he didn't have to do anything in the Atlas stones. Nonetheless, he finished five reps in 25.76 seconds to set a new personal best and collect 10 points, putting a bow on his victory.
In the end, Stoltman's steadiness propelled him to a second consecutive championship. He only took first place in the Atlas stones, but he averaged 8.7 points in the five events before that. Licis made his first appearance on the podium after winning the 2019 World's Strongest Man competition. The US had a strong showing in the final, with Brian Shaw (fourth) and Trey Mitchell (sixth) completing the team.
