Days after they broke up, a 21-year-old lady was stabbed many times by her ex-boyfriend in north Delhi on Monday, said the police. The woman is reportedly in serious condition and receiving treatment at Jagjivan Ram Hospital in the nation's capital.

Sukhwinder, 22, was furious when the girl, a student at Delhi University, walked away from him and stopped talking to him after they got into a fight.

The girl and Sukhwinder had been dating for five years. On Monday afternoon in Delhi's Adarsh Nagar, he called the girl near her home to confront her about their breakup and stabbed her many times, as reported by the officials. CCTV cameras have caught this incident.

A Delhi man stabs a woman several times after a friendship goes sour. The man was seen on camera repeatedly stabbing the woman. He allegedly became enraged when the woman broke off their friendship.

On Monday, a male friend of the victim stabbed her multiple times in the Adarsh nagar, neighborhood of Delhi. The man allegedly stabbed the woman at least five to six times in broad daylight because he was upset that she broke off their friendship.

The culprit was arrested on Tuesday and charged with violating Indian Penal Code(IPC) Section 307 (attempt to murder). Sukhvinder Singh, who is 22 years old has been identified as the suspect.

On Monday at Adarsh Nagar, northwest of Delhi, a man stabbed a woman after she refused to continue their friendship.

Dashpreet Kaur, a 21-year-old woman, is identified as the victim. The Police said the woman's condition is stable and she is receiving treatment. Kaur is a student at the School of Open Learning at Delhi University (SOL).

The police arrested the suspect, named as Sukhwinder Singh, 22, from Ambala on Tuesday after he left the city.

Dashpreet, a resident of Kewal Park in Azadpur Extension, said in the incident's FIR that the accused unexpectedly stopped her near Majlis Park Main Road and dragged her toward a small bylane on Monday at approximately 12:05 pm while she was en route to a driving school in Adarsh Nagar.

The two can be seen in the footage talking as they walk down a residential lane. After a brief conversation, Sukhwinder is seen repeatedly stabbing the woman.

As a result of the incident, Sukhwinder ran away to Ambala. Yesterday, as he was traveling back to Delhi, he was arrested by the officials.
