  • For at least 15 seconds, press and hold the button on the back of the case. If you use a non-wireless second-generation AirPods charging case, the internal light between the AirPods will flash white and then amber, indicating that the AirPods have reset. This light can be found on the front of a Wireless Charging Case for AirPods Pro, AirPods 2, or AirPods 3 (also available as an upgrade purchase for first-generation AirPods).

  • Close the lid of your AirPods case and then reopen it.

  • Place your iPhone or iPad in the AirPods case with the lid open. Your iOS device should detect the AirPods and prompt you to connect them.
