So scroll down to get all the possible fixes to take care of the problem on iPhone.

How To Fix iPhone Cellular Data not Working Issue?

  • Turn Off Airplane Mode

  • Turn on Cellular Data

  • Restart your iPhone

  • Check for a Carrier Settings Update

  • Remove and Insert Sim Card Again

  • Reset Network Settings

  • Restore your Phone through DFU

  • Contact Your Wireless Network

Listed below are some of the ways to fix the issue,

Turn Off Airplane Mode

Sometimes you might have turned on Aeroplane mode unknowingly or forgotten to turn it back off after using it. To disable Airplane Mode, go to the Settings app and toggle off the Airplane Mode switch. When the switch is white and positioned to the left, Airplane Mode is turned off. By opening Control Center and tapping the Airplane Mode button, you may also switch off Airplane Mode. When the button is grey and white instead of orange and white, you know Airplane Mode is turned off.

Turn on Cellular Data

Once the Airplane mode is taken care of, you need to check if your cellular data is turned on. Go to Settings > Cellular and flip the switch to turn on Cellular Data. It is already on, turn it off and back on again. This will help restart the connection.

Restart your iPhone

If your iPhone's cellular data isn't working despite being turned on in the Settings app, restart it. It's possible that the software on your iPhone or a specific app has crashed, making Cellular Data unavailable. Press and hold power button until "slide to power off" appears towards the top of the display on an iPhone 8 or before. Hold down the volume and side buttons together until "slide to power off" displays if you have an iPhone X. Then, swipe the red and white power icon from left to right to switch off your iPhone. Wait for a few seconds before pressing and holding power button (iPhone 8 and prior) or the side button (iPhone X) until the Apple logo appears in the centre of the screen.

Check for a Carrier Settings Update

If your iPhone's cellular data isn't working, the next step is to check for a carrier settings update. Apple and your cellular carrier issue updates to make it easier for your iPhone to connect to your carrier's network. You'll usually get a pop-up on your iPhone that reads "Carrier Settings Update" when a carrier settings update is available. Always press Update whenever this pop-up displays on your iPhone.

Remove and Insert Sim Card Again

When your iPhone's cellular data isn't working, removing and reinserting your SIM card might sometimes offer it a new start and a second chance to properly connect to your wireless carrier's network.

Reset Network Settings

If reinserting your SIM card doesn’t cut it. You can try resetting your network. To reset network settings, go to Settings > General -> Reset > Reset Network Settings. Once the network is reset, your phone will restart, and your network will be reset.

Restore your Phone through DFU

If adjusting network settings didn't solve your iPhone's Cellular Data problem, try a DFU restoration. A DFU restore erases, then reloads all of the code on your iPhone, returning it to factory defaults. We recommend making a backup of your iPhone's data before conducting a DFU restore to ensure you don't lose any crucial data.

Contact Your Wireless Network

If none of the solutions resolves the issue, then contact customer support to lodge an official complaint. If it is an issue on their end, they will look into it and fix the issue.
