1: Restart the App

1. First of all exit the Instagram app.

2. Then, when you are on the home screen, look for the recent apps section and remove Instagram from there. 

3. Also, you can turn off the device to ensure that other temporary bugs are resolved. 

4. You can turn the device back On and then launch Instagram. 

2: Get Your Direct Messages Refreshed

1. First, launch the Instagram app and visit the home page. 

2. After that locate the arrow icon on the top right-hand corner and also tap on it to access the direct messages. 

3. Once you're on the messages page, then pull down from the top to refresh the direct messages. 

4. You can view if there are some message requests. 

5. Now, finally, take the desired action. 

6. You can either allow, decline, and proceed with deleting the message requests by swiping left 

7. You can resolve the Instagram message notification but no message error.
