She is engaged to capitalist Carter Reum on her 40th birthday and according to Vogue, the two got engaged on Saturday, 13th February while they were vacationing on a private island. Carter Milliken Reum is an author, entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He is most known for founding M13 Ventures, an angel investment firm. He has a brother named Courtney Reum and Carter Reum along with his brother, co-founded the alcohol brand VEEV Spirits. It was listed in Inc. Magazine's 500 fastest growing private companies in America.

Carter Reum requested popular jeweler Jean Dousset, the great-great-grandson of Louis-Francois Cartier, to design a custom engagement ring for his fiancée, Paris Hilton. The engagement ring contains a 10 to 20 carat emerald-cut center stone framed by two shield-cut diamonds. "Around the diamond, on the prongs, and at the base of the ring’s head are small pavé diamonds giving this ring extra bling while maintaining a classy look," tells jeweler Ajay Anand, CEO of Rare Carat.
