In 2000, she graduated with a degree in English and Sociology from the College of William & Mary. She was a backstroke swimmer in the athletic team for two years.

Paski left CNN and joined the Biden-Harris transition team in November 2020. She was named as the White House Press Secretary under the Biden Administration. She was accused of disobeying the Hatch Act of 1939 for her comments, by the Watchdog group, during the 2021 Virginia gubernatorial election. She worked as the traveling Press secretary, during the 2008 Presidential campaign of U.S senator Obama. Once Obama won the election, she was posted as the Deputy Press Secretary in the White House. Later she was promoted as the Deputy Communications Director on 19th December 2009. She became the Senior Vice President of the Public relations firm Global Strategy Group.
