When Will The US Hold The Olympics Next?
The opening Olympics in South Korea in 2018 had piqued American interest in hosting the games, but fortunately, Los Angeles will host the games in 2028, over four decades after the city last held the games in 1984. There was a battle between Paris and Los Angeles to host the 2024 Olympic Games, but Paris was awarded the bid.
Following that, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) declared that the Olympics will be held in both cities four years apart, an uncommon twist.

The last time the Summer Olympics were held in Los Angeles was more than 80 years ago, in 1932, just months after the Winter Olympics were held in Lake Placid, New York, back when the two events were held in the same year.
Los Angeles also held the Summer Olympics in 1932 and 1984. The United States has hosted more Olympic Games than any other country, with eight in total.

Los Angeles will host the Summer Olympics for the first time since Salt Lake City held the Winter Olympics in 2002. Indeed, Salt Lake City has indicated an interest in hosting the 2026 Winter Olympics, which would imply that the United States would be able to host the Games two years sooner if chosen. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the city may be more interested in 2030.
The 2028 Olympics will also be the first time the United States has hosted an Olympic Games since the Salt Lake City Winter Games in 2002. The United States will host the Summer Olympics for the ninth time in 2028; the next-closest country, in terms of future dates, is France (six).
When Will The US Host The Olympics?
The 2020 Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo following PyeongChang. Beijing will host both the Winter and Summer Olympic Games for the first time in 2022. The Summer Olympics will be held in Paris in 2024, and the Olympics will be held in Los Angeles in 2028, giving the United States its day to shine.
The 2026 Winter Olympic Games are still on talks, with Austria, Turkey, Switzerland, Japan, Sweden, and Canada all considering bids. In September 2019, at its 134th session in Milan, the IOC will choose the host city.

International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach has said there are plenty of countries interested in hosting the Games in 2036, 2040 and beyond, including India. The next three Olympics have been allotted to Paris (2024), Los Angeles (2028) and Brisbane (2032).
