Tangmo Nida, a Thai actress, died after falling fatally from a motorboat. At 1:10 PM on Saturday, 38 hours after her fall, her body was pulled from the Chao Phraya River. Two days before her passing, the 37-year-old went missing.

Local reports state that Nida "Tangmo" Patcharaveerapong was on the boat with a small group of companions. The owner of the watercraft, Tanupat Lerttaweewit, may now be charged with death by carelessness. A second man named "Bert" who was on the speedboat may also be charged with operating it without a license.

Along with her boss Kratik, Tangmo Nida was in the boat with another six passengers. She was making her way to the province of Nonthaburi from the Thon Burgi Bridge.

Who Is Tangmo Nida?

Nida Patcharaveerapong, also known as Pattaratida Patcharaveerapong and better known by her stage name Tangmo, was a well-known Thai actress best recognised for playing the lead in a number of Thai dramas. In 2003, she made her acting debut.

She was born in Bangkok as Tangmo Patcharaveerapong. She moved in with her father when she was five years old because her parents had already divorced. Nida only had one sibling named Toi-Dayos.

How Did Tangmo Nida Die?

On February 24, 2022, at about 10:32 p.m., Tangmo Nida fell into the Chao Phraya River from a motorboat. Two days later, on February 26, 2022, her body was found. On April 26, 2022, the Royal Thai Police ruled that there was no foul play in her death, but they nonetheless filed charges against six people for their alleged "recklessness" and involvement.

Tangmo Nida Cause Of Death

According to Thai PBS World, Tangmo Nida died falling from the boat at 11:00 p.m. Her body was found some hours after she drowned, as we previously said. Police were questioning the group to find out why it took so long to notify the actress' death.

Tanupat admitted to police that he was too horrified by the incident to report it right away. Additionally, none of the speedboat's passengers were wearing jackets. Tanupat said that they didn't since they didn't know where they had been kept.

Justice For Tangmo

Justice for Tangmo Nida was trending after her brother discovered her body on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Nonthaburi province, 300 meters from Pibulsongkram Pier, after a 38-hour search. On a boat ride with her manager and four other individuals on Thursday night, the 37-year-old actress apparently fell into the river.

Dayos Detjob, her brother, told local journalists that he "came to take her home" and that the police will handle the remainder of the inquiry. Tanupat Lerttavivit, owner of the boat, and Paibul Trikanchanan, the driver, were legally accused of causing death by negligence. Additionally, Mr. Lerttawit is accused of operating a boat without a valid license.

The local police were contacted for interrogation by all five passengers who were on the boat at the time of the event. Lerttawivit claimed that the actress relieved herself towards the stern of the boat after being questioned. Patcharavirapong allegedly grabbed onto her friend's legs when she fell into the sea while her friend was allegedly looking at her phone.
