What Happened To Elliot On SVU?
In May 2011, Meloni told that he will not be coming back to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit(SVU) in 2011 for its 13th season suceeding the unsuccessful negotiations in the new contract. The character of the Stabler was written out of the show. During an interview in August 2021, Meloni said that he left SVU succeeding season 12 because of the issues with his contract negotiation. He said that he asked for a more pay in NBC, but it can’t give him the salary he wished. He tried to get to an agreement with the number of episodes Meloni was in, but the creators of SVU have not approved either.

Though it was said that Elliot will be cleared, we see in season 13 that he has been retired, leaving Olivia by herself. This was emotional as Olivia and Elliot had a 12-season-long friendship, as many of them knew it. He was written out of Elliot Stabler in a different way. He was written off from the first episode of Season 13, “Scorched Earth”. A lethal shootout occurred in the squad room at the time, in which Stabler shot and killed a young woman, who tried to kill two others in the room.

In July 2020, in an interview with The New York Post, Meloni also revealed that he left the Special Victims Unit (SVU) because he wanted “new adventures.” Stabler is a person who was married and had five kids. He retired from the Police force in the season 12 finale. The fans are remembering them a lot. In the season 13 episodes, it was told that Stabler had gone on administrative leave. At the time, he was said to go below psychiatric evaluation, but he ignored it and retire from the NYPD. In 2020, he said in an interview that “How my character left was really unsatisfying, I think.”

A special victims unit of NYPD detectives overcomes the cases based on real crimes. Meanwhile, they must not make the black side of the investigations, to make changes in their personal life. This drama series premiered on the NBC network and was created, Dick Wolf. It was originally released on 20th September 1999 to the present.
Elliot Stabler Quit
When Elliot Stabler quit the series in 2011, nearly after 12 seasons. Olivia Benson became the commanding officer of the Special Victims Unit after Elliot Stabler come out from the series. There was a rumor that Olivia Benson was in love with Elliot Stabler. As per Mariska Hargitay, the rumor was true. Then the Stabler’s daughter Maureen attended Hudson University, in spite of being in college, and went to live with her parents.
