The connection error on Warframe can be fixed by following the steps given:
1. Check If The Installer Needs Administrator Permission To Update Files On Computer
Make sure that both the Warframe and Steam are closed. Now restart Warframe as an Administrator. If you are using Steam, then restart it as an Administrator and run Warframe.
To do this:
Open the Start menu and find the Warframe/Steam shortcut
Right-click the shortcut, and click on Properties
Select the Compatibility tab
Click on Change settings for all users
Under Privilege Level, check Run this program as administrator
Click on Apply
2. Check Internet Connection When Installing or Updating Warframe
If the wireless connection is not working, then use a wired internet connection for better results.
Close other apps and games that access the internet.
Power Cycle the modem and router to speed up the internet connection.
To do this:
Shut down the computer connected to the modem/router
Turn off and unplug the modem and router
Allow it to sit for 60 seconds while being unplugged
Plugin and turn on the modem and router
Start the computer and allow it to boot up
Use a stable internet connection. A cellular internet connection is not considered stable.
3. Check If The Launcher Is Crashing

10. Bypass or Disable The Proxy Connected To The System
Proxy or VPN may interfere with the launcher's ability to download. To disable the active proxy in the system by heading to the Windows control panel and search for Internet options.
