The application has three versions such as one optimized for iPhone and iPod Touch, one for the Mac, and another one exclusively meant for iPad. Tweetbot is a software program used on Twitter to follow Twitter users, like and retweet posts automatically.

Tweetbot is among the most popular third-party Twitter clients, which many users use. The famous software program has been facing some issues currently. Several Tweetbot users have been reporting about the issue of 'Tweetbot Unable To Access Account.' They are reporting that the Tweetbot is currently down, and they are not being able to use their accounts, and they got logged out of their accounts.

Is Tweetbot Down?

As of writing this article, Tweetbot and some other popular third-party clients are experiencing problems. Tweetbot users report that Tweetbot is currently down, and they cannot use their accounts, and they got logged out of their accounts. Tapbots, the developers of Tweetbot aware of this issue, and they addressed the issue in their recent tweet today at 10:33 am. They mentioned that they reached Twitter for more details about the issue but haven't heard back. They added that, most probably, it is just a temporary glitch.

Why Is Tweetbot Not Working?

The issue of Tweeetbot and other third-party clients not working is probably because the Twitter API (Application Programming Interfaces) appears to be down. The outage of the Twitter API led to the issue of breaking Tweetbot and third-party clients. Currently, there is no information regarding when the Tweetbot and other third-party software will be back online on Twitter.

So we have no other option but to wait for Twitter to fix the API outage. Meanwhile, try the following fixes to make sure that the issue is not with your side. 

• Try To log in with your email or phone number if you are using a Twitter username to log in, and try vice versa.  

• Log in to Twitter using Safari and then try again with Tweetbot.

• Disable 2FA, Log in to Twitter, and try enabling it again.
