Jeremy Lalrinnunga Won Gold In Men’s 67 Kg Weightlifting In Commonwealth Games 2022

Jeremy Lalrinnunga from India won the gold medal in men’s 67 kg category weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Jeremy Lalrinnunga from India won the gold medal in men’s 67 kg category weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
The 19-year-old Jeremy lifted 300kg (140kg+160kg) to get the 1st position. This is the 2nd gold for the country and 5th medal overall. Vaipava Nevo Ioane, a Samoan weightlifter, secured a silver medal with a lift of 293 (127kg + 166kg).
Edidiong Joseph Umoafia from Nigeria won bronze, 290kg (130kg+160kg).
Jeremy Lalrinnunga is a well-known Indian weightlifter from Aizawl, Mizoram.

Achinta Sheuli, India’s weightlifter, bagged the gold medal in The Commonwealth Games 2022.

Achinta Sheuli, India’s weightlifter, bagged the gold medal in The Commonwealth Games 2022.
The 20-year-old Achinta claimed the yellow metal with a combined effort of 313 Kilograms.
India has been performing very well in weightlifting as the contingent has bagged six medals in this edition.
Erry Hidayat Muhammad from Malaysia, who gave Sheuli a tough competition, became the 2nd -best lifter in the event. He had the best effort of 303kg.
Shad Darsigny from Canada was 3rd with a total lift of 298kg.

Following this, the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action was established in 1991. In 1992, the inaugural World Breastfeeding Week was observed to boost the campaign. Initially, about 70 countries used to commemorate the week, and now, it is celebrated by 170 countries.
