Tom Parker, the British musician who rose to stardom as a partner of the boy band The Wanted, has died nearly two years after being analyzed with stage four glioblastoma. He was aged 33 at the time of his death. The musician's wife Kelsey reported his demise on Instagram Wednesday, saying that Parker died earlier that day with his family by his side.

Parker wedded Kelsey Hardwick in the year  2018. The couple had a daughter in the year 2019 and a son in the year 2020. Unfortunately, though he was a star in his professional life, his health cheated on him. On 12 October 2020, Parker declared that he had been analyzed with an inoperable grade 4 glioblastoma. In July, he suffered a stroke and was put on the waiting checklist for an MRI scan, later suffering an attack on a family trip. In January 2021, Parker published on Instagram that his tumor had been "extremely eased" and continued treatment. In September, Parker bore a special goodwill show at the Royal Albert Hall to aid Stand Up to Cancer. The event was named "Inside My Head" and featured artists such as Becky Hill, McFly, Liam Payne, and the first concert with his bandmates, The Wanted, since they announced their hiatus in 2014. Tom Parker Early Life

Parker was born and raised in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. At sixteen, he learned to play the guitar after testing out his older brother's guitar. He then auditioned for The X Factor, though he did not get further in the first round. He went to Manchester Metropolitan University and studied Geography but descended to follow a professional singing career. Parker joined a Take That tribute band known as Take That II and toured Northern England before joining The Wanted in 2009.
