Story of Thursday Vrat Katha
It is a story in ancient times, a great and powerful king used to rule. He kept a fast on every Thursday and received charity by donating to the hungry and poor, but this thing did not like his queen. She neither fasted, nor donated any money to anyone and even forbade the king to do so. Once upon a time, Raja went to the forest to play hunting. There were a queen and a maid at home. At the same time, Guru Brihaspati Dev came in the form of a monk and asked for alms at the king's door. When the monk asked for alms to the queen, she started saying, “Sadhu Maharaj, I am fed up with this charity and virtue. You should suggest a solution so that all the money is destroyed and I can live comfortably.
Brihaspati Dev shouted 'O Goddess, you are very strange', someone is unhappy with children and money. If there is more money, then use it inauspicious works, marry virgins, build schools and gardens, so that both your people improve. But the queen was not happy with these things of the monk. He said that I do not need much money, which I donate and that all my time in handling should be lost. Then the monk said - if you have such a desire, then you should do as I tell you. On a Thursday, you would take the house with cow dung, wash your hair with yellow soil, bathe while washing your hair, ask the king to shave, eat meat and drink in food, put a cloth to wash in the laundry. In this way, by doing seven Thursdays, all your wealth will be destroyed. Saying this, the monk Rupi Jupiterdev became impatient. This story goes on with multiple events that explain the benefits of the Thursday Vrat.

The devotee should offer gram lentils, jaggery, turmeric, banana and worship the photo of Lord Vishnu. ay. Decorating with a yellow cloth after you bath the Lord is considered auspicious.
