The Waltons has been off the air for almost forty years now. However, despite how popular the show was and despite the fact that the actors are all household names, it has become difficult to recognise the actors. All the cast members have gone on their own journeys and some have also sadly passed away. The show was a very accurate representation of American families at the time and President George Bush once wished that families were “more like the Waltons and less like the Simpsons”.
