Russell Gage Jr. is a famous American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. With 2:55 left in Monday's wild-card game against the Dallas Cowboys, Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage was rendered immobile and carried off the field after suffering an apparent upper-body injury.
Gage was struck in the neck and jaw area on a second-down incomplete pass. He stayed in the area, but his leg could be seen moving. As Gage was being treated, players from the Buccaneers and Cowboys gathered nearby. He was then placed on a cart after being placed on a backboard.

Russell suffered a neck injury while playing the Dallas Cowboys and was carted off the field. The Buccaneers suffered a 31–14 defeat. What Happened To Russell Gage
Russell Gage, a Tampa Bay receiver, had to be carried off the field during the end of Monday's game between the Buccaneers and the Cowboys. Gage attempted to stand up numerous times but was unable, according to numerous reporters and the ESPN broadcast. Before being escorted off the field, Gage was strapped to a backboard. Before getting hurt, Gage had two receptions for 10 yards on eight targets.
