Who Is Rupali Ganguly?
Rupali Ganguly is an Indian actress mostly known for her work in Indian television shows. She started her acting career at seven in her father's film Saaheb in 1985. Ganguly had her career breakthrough after launching into television with her narration of medical intern Dr. Simran Chopra in the Starplus medical drama series Sanjivani released in 2002. She received additional praise for her portrayal of Monisha Sarabhai in 2004 through the cult sitcom Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai Ganguly continued to appear in multiple successful television series, notably Baa Bahoo Aur Baby in 2005 and Parvarrish-Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi in 2011, then she took a leave from acting. Behind a seven-year break, Ganguly returned in 2020 with the soap opera Anupama.

Ashwin K Verma is a businessman but was an ad filmmaker when he met Ganguly. Ashwin met Rupali Ganguly in an ad shoot which Ashwin K Verma directed, and Rupali Ganguly enacted the ad. Slowly, they became friends, and that friendship blossomed further, and eventually, they fell hard for each other. In one of the interviews for the Times of India, Rupali Said, "We were just friends for 12 years. We first met when I had modeled for one of his commercials. Then we became friends and started working together. He was my confidant, friend, philosopher, and guide. He was the one who encouraged me to join television. Love shuv kab hua pata hi nahi chala. I just know he loves me a lot".

Rupali shared that they decided to get married all of a sudden. They wanted to have a registered wedding at her place, but her father wanted to conduct kanyadaan, and at the last moment, they called a pandit to complete the ritual.
Rupali called her wedding fast, hilarious, and a super quick one. She shared that she was happy that she decided to get married simply without spending much on a grand wedding. He is best known for his movie Kora Kagaz, released in 1974. His movie Tapasya (1975) won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment 1975. He is also known for his films Aanchal, Saheb, and Trishna. Later in his career, after 1986, he created seven films, none of which succeeded. Unfortunately, he died on January 15, 2016.
