Ramayan Serial

Ramayan is a Hindi-language Indian epic television series that was created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar. Initially, it was based on the Valmiki’s Ramayan and Tulsidas’s Ramcharitmanas. The first television series of Ramayan was released on 25 January 1987 on DD National television network. Sagar Arts produced it. The duration of the series was 35 minutes. It has one season with 78 episodes. The initial viewership ratings of this series were 82%, but during the pandemic, the series was reaired, got 77 million viewers, and set a record as the most-watched TV show in the world. Likewise, the new Ramayan: Sabke Jeevan Ka Aadhar, also an Indian television series, aired on Zee TV as an adaption of Ramcharitmanas. It was released on 12 August 2012 and continued until 1 September 2013. Sagar Pictures produced it and directed it by Mukesh Singh, Pawan Parkhi, and Rajesh Shikhre. It has 56 episodes.
