The PM Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi( PM SVANidhi) was launched on June 1, 2020, by the Ministry of Housing and Urban affairs. Interest Subsidy at the rate of 7% per annum upon regular repayment of the loan.
Cashback of upto INR1200/- per annum upon undertaking prescribed digital transactions.
Eligibility for enhanced loans of larger proportion.
About 2 million applications have been received, out of which, 752191 have been sanctioned, and 218751 loans have been disbursed already.

PM SVANnidhi Yojana Eligibility Criteria
Listed below are the Eligibility Criteria that all applicants must satisfy,
Street Vendors must own a Certificate of Vending/Identity Card issued by Local Bodies(ULBs)
Street Vendors identified in the survey but not in possession of Certificate of Vending/Identity Card will be provided with a Provisional Certificate of Vending generated through an IT-based platform.
Street Vendors left out in the ULBled identification survey or who started vending after the completion of the survey and have in their possession, a Letter of Recommendation(LOR) to that effect by the ULB/Town Vending Committee(TVC).
Street Vendors in surrounding development/ peri-urban/ rural areas but within the geographical limits of ULBs and have in their possession a Letter of Recommendation(LoR) issued by the ULB/TVC.
How to Apply for PM Svanidhi?
Given below are the steps for applying for PM Svanidhi Scheme,
Ensure that you have gone through the Pre-application process.
Ensure that you satisfy the Eligibility Criteria.
Visit the official PM SVANnidhi portal.
Click on Apply for Loan.
Enter your Aadhar linked phone number and complete captcha verification.
Select your category and fill in all the details.
Click on Submit.

Other documents required are Aadhar card, voter’s identity card, driving license, MNREGA card, and PAN card. Documents can be uploaded through the PM SVANnidhi portal. Street Vendors can avail of a collateral-free loan of up to INR10,000/- of one-year tenure through this scheme.
