On Friday, December 2, Houston Police informed that Patrick Xavier Clark, also known as DJ Pat, was charged and then arrested for the murder of Takeoff. Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot on November 1, 2022, at a bowling alley in downtown Houston.

Is Takeoff Murderer Arrested?

While DJ Pat was arrested on Thursday, another man named Cameron Joshua was also arrested on November 22 and then charged with felony possession of a weapon. Takeoff died last month when he was just 28 years old.

Is Patrick Clark Arrested?

HPD issued an official statement on December 2 about the arrests in connection to Takeoff's shooting. In the press conference, chief Finner claimed that Patrick was charged with the murder of Takeoff. In a video shared on the department's official Twitter, Mayor Sylvester Turner was heard saying, "I'm glad that a suspect has been arrested and charged for Takeoff's death."

"I want to express my regret and disappointment that this was the case of another young man taking the life of another young man for no reason.

"Gun violence everywhere, not just in the city of Houston, has to stop. People are dying for no reason and people are reaching for a deadly firearm to settle sometimes a minor disagreement. Pulling a firearm can have deadly consequences that you cannot undo."

Is Dj Pat Arrested?

Yes. According to TMZ, Takeoff and his uncle, Quavo, were also present at Jas Prince's birthday party on the night of the shooting, and the two posted photos and videos of themselves hours before the deadly incident.

Takeoff died on 1 November 2022. Takeoff's funeral was held as a private event that even restricted fans and other attendees from carrying their cameras or phones. The Houston Police informed the press conference that the investigation was ongoing.
