MOMA Scholarships 2021

The National minority scholarship scheme was approved by the Indian government to disburse the five lakh Scholarships under the post-matric scholarship scheme, thirty lakh scholarships under the pre-matric scholarship Programme, and almost sixty thousand scholarships under the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme. The main objective of this scholarship program is to provide and motivate the Minority Community and other Category students to appear for the Professional, Technical Courses at PG and Bachelors level. From this scholarship scheme, the eligible and winner students will be credited with an amount of twenty thousand rupees per annum.  The three different Scholarship are the following: 

Minorities Pre-Matric Scholarship
Minorities Post-Matric Scholarship
Professional and Technical Courses CS of Merit cum Means Scholarship scheme

1. Minorities Pre Matric Scholarship 

Under this Scholarship Programme, the candidates from Grade 1 - 10th grade who belongs to the Minority Community will be awarded up to Rs.600 per month under this scheme. About 30 lakh students will be benefited from this particular scheme for the next academic year 2020-2021. In order to apply for this scheme, students' family annual income should not be more than one lakh per annum and they must have attained 60% of marks in the previous final examinations.

2. Minorities Post-Matric Scholarship:

Under the Post-Matric Minority Scholarship program, the students from grade 11th to Ph.D. will be provided up to Rs.800 per month. The candidate’s family annual income shouldn't be more than two lakhs. And, the students who want to apply for this scheme should have attained a 50% score in the previous final exams. The selected students will earn ten thousand rupees per annum along with maintenance charges of up to twelve hundred rupees per month.

3. Professional and Technical Courses of Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme:

Students who wish to take Technical or Professional courses at the Graduate or Post Graduate level will eligible for this Merit cum Means scholarship scheme. Under this scheme, contenders’ family income should not be more than 2.5 lakh per annum and they have scored at least 50% of marks in the previous academic course. The merit list students or selected candidates will be provided Rs.20000 scholarship amount per year. 

MOMA Scholarships 2021 Rewards

Families coming from an economically poor background and who come under the minority category, can apply and avail of the MOMA Scholarship Programme to educate their children from Class 1st to PG  in order to receive financial support from this MOMA Scholarship Program. The selected students will get an admission fee/ Course fee/ Tuition Fee and other maintenance allowances under this scheme. The students will receive financial assistance for the entire course duration.

MOMA Scholarships 2021 Eligibility Criteria 

1. Applicant should be an Indian Resident.
2. Candidate should belong to the minority category.
3. Male/Female students both can apply for this scheme.
4. Applicant’s Family income must be below 2 lakh per annum.
5. Candidate should have secured 50% marks in the previous exam.
6. There is no age limit.

What Is The Application Process for MOMA Scholarships?

  1. First, new applicants must register as new users on the NSP Portal by submitting accurate information.

  2. While applying for their selected scholarship program, applicants are recommended to maintain all relevant documents with them.

  3. When filling out the registration form, candidates must include information about their educational qualifications, Aadhaar number, School/College Enrolment Number, Bank Information, and State of Domicile.

  4. The applicants' application ID is generated based on their state of residence. This application ID is also used as the NSP Portal's "Login ID" and other future references.

  5. Candidates must also select the appropriate scholarship category for which they are applying. For example, a student in grades 1 through 10 must select the pre-matric scholarship plan when filling out the application.

  6. The applicant's name, date of birth, email address, identity information, and phone number must all be filled out correctly.

  7. After completing the registration form, the candidate will receive an OTP, which they must use to log in and complete the scholarship application form. Applicants must submit the application form and upload the required documents.
