Michael Gerard Tyson is a former professional boxer from America, who competed from 1985 to 2005. He got the nickname "Iron Mike” and "Kid Dynamite" in his early stages. After that, he is known by his nickname "The Baddest Man on the Planet". He is known as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. He was the world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990. He became the winner of his first 19 professional fights by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. He became the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, IBF, and WBC titles. He became the lineal champion in the following year when he knocked out Michael Spinks in 91 seconds of the first round.

Tyson made debuted as a professional boxer, at the age of 18 on 6th March 1985, in Albany, New York. He won against Hector Mercedes via first-round TKO. As a professional, he had 15 bouts in his first year. He had won 26 of his first 28 fights by KO or TKO. His opponents quality gradually increased to journeyman fighters and borderline contenders like James Tillis, Mitch Green, David Jaco, Jesse Ferguson, and Marvis Frazier. His win got the media attention and he became the next great heavyweight champion.

Then he, joined Floyd Patterson, Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, Tim Witherspoon, and George Foreman as the only men in boxing history to have to get back a heavyweight championship after losing it. Tyson lost the WBA title to the boxer, Evander Holyfield, by an eleventh-round stoppage. Their rematch in 1997, ended when Tyson was disqualified for biting Holyfield's ears. In 2002, Tyson fought for the world heavyweight title, losing by knockout to Lennox Lewis. He was hit by fighters and opponents in the later stage of his career versus his 1st 25 professional fights. He was so good in his career, later and with trainers that had a lack of understanding.
