Mangalvar Vrat Katha

There's a story behind this auspicious day- Mangalvar Vrat Katha. Once upon a time, a Brahmin couple didn't have children, due to which they were unfortunate. One day, Brahmins went to the forest to worship the mighty Hanuman. Then he wished for a son to Mahavir with worship. His wife used to fast on Tuesday to be blessed with a son at home. At the end of the fast that is Tuesday, she used to eat food by offering food to Lord Hanuman. On the day of fast, the Brahmin was not able to cook the food he shows Hanuman Ji. She pledged that she would eat food only on Tuesday next after providing bhog for Lord Hanuman. She stayed hungry and thirsty for six long days. And fainted on Tuesday and Hanuman Ji was pleased enough to see his loyalty and dedication. He gave a son to Brahmani as a blessing and said the baby would serve you a lot. The Brahmin was pleased to find the child. He was named the child of Mars. After a while, when the Brahmins came home, looking at the child and they asked who he was? The wife said that Hanuman Ji has blessed him with a child, and pleased with the Tuesday fast. The Brahmin could not believe what the wife had said. One day seeing the opportunity, the Brahmin dropped the child into the well. On returning home, the Brahmin asked, where is Mangal? Then Mars came back from behind. The Brahmin was surprised to see her back. At night, Hanumanji appeared to him in a dream and told that he had given him this son. The Brahmin was pleased knowing the truth. After this, the Brahmin couple started fasting every Tuesday. A person who reads or listens to the story of Tuesday, and observes a fast by the rule, gets all the happiness by removing all suffering from the grace of Hanuman Ji and becomes eligible for the mercy of Hanuman Ji.

Mangla Gauri Vrat Katha

Check out the story behind Mangla Gauri Vrat Katha, On this day special prayers are offered to Goddess Parvati. This fast is observed on every Tuesday of Sawan. Married women observe this fast with a happy life for their husbands and children. Unmarried women observe this fast with the wish for a good spouse. A long time ago, there was a filthy wealthy businessman named Dharampal in the city. His wife was lovely and had a lot of assets that he owned. But he used to be very worried because he was not blessed with children. He was blessed with a son by the grace of God when he was young. He was cursed at the age of 16, that he would die of snakebite. Incidentally, he was married to a young woman before 16 years, whose mother Mangla Gauri used to fast. As a result, she has blessed her daughter with a happy life due to which she could never be a widow. Because of this, Dharampal's son attained longevity of 100 years. For this reason, all newly married women would perform this puja and observe Gauri fast and wish for a longer, happier and lasting marital life for themselves. Women those who cannot follow this fasting can at lease perform the rituals. After hearing to this story, a married woman gives 16 laddus to her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. After this, she also offers the same prasad to the Brahmin. Once this method was completed, the Vrati performs the aarti of the goddess with 16 wick days. On Wednesday, the second day of the fast, the idol of Goddess Mangla Gauri is immersed in a river or pokhar. Lastly, fold your hands in front of Maa Gauri and apologize for all your crimes and for the mistakes you made in worship. This fast and worship is performed for five consecutive years for the happiness of the family. Therefore, according to the scriptures, by doing this Mangla Gauri fast according to the rules, the increase in marital happiness of every man, son and grandson also spend their life; happily, such is the glory of this fast.

Check out the story behind Mangal Pradesh Vrat Katha. An older woman lived in a city. She had only one son. The old lady had a deep faith in Hanuman. She used to worship Hanuman by observing a fast every Tuesday. Once, Hanumanji thought to test his reverence. Hanumanji personated as a monk went to the old house and began to call out loud asking if there is any Hanuman devotee, who can fulfil our wish? Hearing the call, an old lady came out and said - Commandant Maharaj Hanuman ( a prostitute monk) said I am hungry, I will eat, you leap some land. The old lady was confused. Finally, with folded hands, bid - Maharaj. Apart from leaping and digging the soil, you will give some other command, and I will do it. After pledging three times, the monk said, "You call your son." I will cook food by lighting a fire on his back. Hearing this, the old lady got little nervous, but she was committed. He summoned his son and handed it over to the monk. The prostitute monk Hanuman Ji made his son sit on his stomach by the older man's arms and lit a fire on his back. Once the fire started to burn, the old lady returned to her house with a heavy heart. Here, the cook prepared food and called the old lady and said, "You call your son so that he too can come and enjoy it." On this, the old lady said - Do not bother me further by taking his name. But when the Sadhu Maharaj disagreed, the old lady gave voice to her son. The older woman was surprised to see her son alive and alright, and she fell at the feet of the monk immediately. Hanumanji appeared in his actual form and blessed the old lady with devotion and grace.

1.  Must wake up before sunrise on Tuesday.
 
2.  Bath should be clean after dealing with routine.
 
3. Wearing red clothes on this day is considered auspicious. After that, Hanumanji should offer red flowers, vermilion, clothes.
 
4. Tuesday special: 7 measures of Hanuman Ji overcome every crisis.
 
5.  Hanuman Chalisa or Sunderkand should be recited by reverently lighting a flame in front of the idol of Hanuman.
 
6.  In the evening, you should eat salted food on your own by applying Besan Laddus or Kheer to Lord Hanuman.
 
7.  Those fasting on Tuesday should observe celibacy on this day.
