The last date for applying for a MahaDBT (post-matric) scholarship for the academic year 2020-21 is 31 January 2021. The scholarships are typically announced in the month of September and their term for applications lasts until December. It is, however, the provider's sole decision.
How To Apply For Mahadbt Scholarship( Post- Matric) 2020-21?
Candidates may register through the Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) platform for a DTE scholarship. For its residents, it is a remarkable platform operated by the Government of Maharashtra to enable eligible candidates to benefit from the various available schemes. Getting an Aadhaar number is a compulsory prerequisite to apply for any scholarship program through the platform, from the 2018-19 academic session onwards.
Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to apply for Mahadbt Scholarship 2020-21.
- Firstly, the applicant needs to view the https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in/ home page.
- Tap on the "Post Matric Scholarship", and then click on "New Applicant Registration" to register.
- Provide all the mandatory details needed and enroll.
- To complete the registration, applicants are expected to check their email ID and mobile number. For email verification, tap on 'Get OTP for Email ID Verification' and 'Get OTP for Mobile Number Verification' for contact verification.
- Sign in using the registered email ID and password once you have enrolled successfully.
- Provide the Aadhaar number carefully after a successful login and progress.
- The applicants are expected to have their Aadhaar number authenticated. Two authentication forms are available.
- OTP: If the mobile number of the applicant is registered with Aadhaar, then preferring the “Authentication type-OTP” is the right choice.
- Biometric: If the mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, the method of authentication can be selected as Biometric.
- Select on the "Send OTP" button and type the Aadhaar number. The server verifies the Aadhaar number and assigns the OTP to the registered mobile number created by the system. Simply enter the OTP and press the OK button. The applicant information obtained from UIDAI will be auto-populated into personal details, address details, bank details, etc. after the satisfactory OTP verification.
- Now, the candidates can view available scholarship lists on the dashboard.
- To begin a fresh application, choose the scholarship you would like to register for and click on the 'Apply' button.
- Finish the application by providing all the mandatory details required.
- Once the application is updated, applicants can proceed to the "All Schemes" section of the mahaDBT portal and check for the scholarship that you want to apply for under the departments.
- A database of scholarship schemes recommended will appear. Choose the scholarship you wish to apply for.
- There will be an application form appearing. Complete all the information required and upload all relevant documents (in case of not uploaded).
- The last and final step is to submit the application, eventually.
