Candidates may register through the Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) platform for a DTE scholarship. For its residents, it is a remarkable platform operated by the Government of Maharashtra to enable eligible candidates to benefit from the various available schemes. Getting an Aadhaar number is a compulsory prerequisite to apply for any scholarship program through the platform, from the 2018-19 academic session onwards.

Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to apply for Mahadbt Scholarship 2020-21.

  • Firstly, the applicant needs to view the https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in/ home page.
  • Tap on the "Post Matric Scholarship", and then click on "New Applicant Registration" to register.
  • Provide all the mandatory details needed and enroll.
  • To complete the registration, applicants are expected to check their email ID and mobile number. For email verification, tap on 'Get OTP for Email ID Verification' and 'Get OTP for Mobile Number Verification' for contact verification.
  • Sign in using the registered email ID and password once you have enrolled successfully.
  • Provide the Aadhaar number carefully after a successful login and progress.
  • The applicants are expected to have their Aadhaar number authenticated. Two authentication forms are available. 
  • OTP: If the mobile number of the applicant is registered with Aadhaar, then preferring the “Authentication type-OTP” is the right choice.
  • Biometric: If the mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, the method of authentication can be selected as Biometric.
  • Select on the "Send OTP" button and type the Aadhaar number. The server verifies the Aadhaar number and assigns the OTP to the registered mobile number created by the system. Simply enter the OTP and press the OK button. The applicant information obtained from UIDAI will be auto-populated into personal details, address details, bank details, etc. after the satisfactory OTP verification.
  • Now, the candidates can view available scholarship lists on the dashboard.
  • To begin a fresh application, choose the scholarship you would like to register for and click on the 'Apply' button.
  • Finish the application by providing all the mandatory details required.
  • Once the application is updated, applicants can proceed to the "All Schemes" section of the mahaDBT portal and check for the scholarship that you want to apply for under the departments.
  • A database of scholarship schemes recommended will appear. Choose the scholarship you wish to apply for.
  • There will be an application form appearing. Complete all the information required and upload all relevant documents (in case of not uploaded).

  • Annual income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh. 
  • The student must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Navbuddha category. 
  • The student must be a Maharashtra resident. 
  • The student passed in the matriculation SSC or its equivalent. 
  • Only two technical courses are permitted.

Post- Matric Tuition Fees, Exam Fees

  • Annual income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh. 
  • The student must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Navbuddha category. 
  • The student must be a Maharashtra resident. 
  • The student passed in the matriculation SSC or its equivalent.
  • The candidates' school should be located in Maharashtra, which is recognized by the government.
  •  Only for professional courses should students be admitted through CAP round

Maintenance Allowance( Professional Courses)

  • Should admit students to professional courses.
  • The students should be the holders of the Government of India's scholarship. 
  • Annual income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh. 
  • Students who study and stay in hostels in their professional curriculum (Government or Institutes Hostel or outside).

Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship

  • Belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

  • Must study in 11th or 12th classes
  • Must have secured above 75% in Xth standard

Post- Matric Scholarships For Students With Disabilities

Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme

  • Resident of Maharashtra(Maharashtra State Border or Karnataka State Border).

  • Applicants should not possess any other stipend or scholarship.

State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship 

  • Must be a graduate only from non- non-agricultural university.

Government Research Adichatra

Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna(DHE)

  • Must be a resident of Maharashtra. 
  • Must attend all semester or annual exams.
  • Should not possess any other Nirvah Bhatta benefits.

  • At Least 50% attendance in the previous semester exam is needed.
  • A gap of two or more years during the course is not eligible for this.

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vastigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DTE)

  • Nationality must be Indian.
  • Must be a resident of Maharashtra. 
  • Applicants must possess “Bonafide Student of Institute” and get admitted for Professional and Technical courses.
  • Deemed University candidates are not eligible.
  • Admitted via Centralized Admission Process(CAP).
  • Must not possess any other scholarships other than this.

VJNT, OBC and SBC Welfare Department Scholarship

Post Matric Scholarship (VJNT students)

  • Must belong to SBC, OBC, and VJNT category. 
  • Must pursue the course approved only by the government. 
  • Family’s annual income must not exceed INR 1 lac.
  • At Least 75% attendance in the current year is needed.

VJNT Students - Tuition and Exam fees

  • Must belong to VJNT category. 
  • Family’s annual income must not exceed INR 8 lacs.

  • Must belong to SBC, and VJNT category.

Rajarshi Chhatrapti Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship (XI and XIIth students from VJNT and SBC Category).

  • Must be from Vimukta Jatis, Special Backward classes, Nomadic Tribes.
  • Studying XIth and XIIth classes in junior colleges are eligible.
  • No limit for a family's annual income.
  • Should not contain any gap before applying for this scholarship.

Post Matric Scholarship (OBC Students)

  • From OBC Category.
  • Studying education courses approved by the government.
  • Must be admitted for professional courses via CAP round.
