LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020-21
Applications are invited by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the weaker section students who can contribute to the development of the country. This Scholarship is for those who need economical support to study, the meritorious students to provide them with the support they need to get better opportunities for higher studies. This Scholarship scheme is for any student from an economically weaker family whose annual income is less than Two Lakh.
Objectives of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2020
SCHEME OBJECTIVE
The scheme's objective is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker families and provide them with better opportunities for higher education to increase their employment opportunities.
The scholarship will be awarded for Students in India studying in Government or Private college /university.
LIC Scholarship 2020-21 Last Date
The last date to apply for the Scholarship is December 31, 2020.
Eligibility Criteria for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2020
For Regular Scholarship
All candidates who have passed Class X & Class XII exam (or it's equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2019 - 20.
The applicant's parents/guardian has an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,00,000 per annum.
Any incorrect information provided by the candidates may result in the cancellation of their scholarship.
The grant is provided to students interested (and willing) to pursue higher education in Vocational Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).
Students pursuing Postgraduation cannot apply for the scholarship.
For Special Girl Child Scholar
Candidates who have passed the Class X exam with at least 60% marks in 2019-20.
Candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2019-20.
The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 per annum.
The grant is provided to girls interested in pursuing (and willing) higher education in the 10+2 pattern.

Visit this website and click on the link to apply. All the applications are directed to be submitted online by LIC. LIC Scholarship 2020-21 the last date is provided on the homepage of the LIC website. Once the application is submitted, you will receive an email to the provided email id. The further details are considered in the acknowledgement email.
Procedure to apply for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2020 Application Form
Step 1- Visit the Official Website of LIC, i.e. www.licindia.in. for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship.
Step 2- Click the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Apply Online option on the home page.
Step 3- The application Form will get displayed on the screen.
Step 4- Enter the required details: Name, Father/ Husband Name, Date of Birth, Gender, caste and other information and upload documents.
Step 5- Select the Submit button to submit the application form.
Step 6- After successfully submitting the application form, an acknowledgement number will be sent to the applicant's registered email id.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2020 Candidates List
For Class 10th
The grant is provided to students interested (and willing) to pursue higher education in Vocational Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).
For Class 12th
The grant is given to students interested in pursuing higher education in Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
LIC Scholarship Amount Details
1) An amount of Rs.20,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected Regular Scholar and shall be payable in three instalments.
2) An amount of Rs.10,000/ per annum will be awarded for selected Special Girl Child pursuing studies in the 10 + 2 Course and scholarship shall be payable in three instalments.
The Scholarship amount will be transferred to Bank Account of the selected scholar through NEFT. Therefore, if the candidate is chosen for a scholarship, the Bank Account details and IFSC code and copy of cancelled cheque with the name of the beneficiary are compulsory.
Duration of Scholarship
The scholarship will be provided for the entire duration of the course for Regular Scholars and two years for Special Girl Scholar, subject to the eligibility criteria' fulfilment.
The scheme also covers technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training classes at graduation level.
